Description
Antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to Benzylpenicillin. Active principles: Benzylpenicillin procaine Intramuscular administration: Cattle : 20 mg procaine benzylpenicillin/kg body weight, corresponding to 1 ml Procapen for 15 kg body weight. Do not exceed 20 ml of injectable suspension for each injection site. Calves : 15 - 20 mg procaine benzylpenicillin / kg body weight corresponding to 0.75 - 1 ml Procapen for 15 kg body weight. Do not exceed 20 ml of injectable suspension for each injection site. Pigs : 20 mg procaine benzylpenicillin/kg body weight corresponding to 1 ml Procapen for 15 kg body weight. Do not exceed 10 ml of injectable suspension for each injection site. Horses : 15 mg procaine benzylpenicillin/kg body weight corresponding to 0.5 ml Procapen for 10 kg body weight. Do not exceed 20 ml of suspension for injection for each injection site. The duration of treatment is 3 days, with a single injection administered every 24 hours. Clinical response to treatment is normally observed within 24 hours. It is important to continue treatment for another 2 days.
