Alcon Tobrex 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment is a sterile topical antibiotic formulation indicated for the treatment of external bacterial infections of the eye and surrounding structures, such as bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and blepharoconjunctivitis, caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms.

Formulated with tobramycin, a water-soluble aminoglycoside antibiotic, this ophthalmic ointment provides targeted broad-spectrum activity against common ocular pathogens. The soothing ointment base delivers prolonged contact time on the ocular surface, making it suitable for daytime application or bedtime use.

Targeted Antibacterial Action: Active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative ocular pathogens, including Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas species.
Extended Contact Time: Ointment base adheres smoothly to the conjunctiva to provide prolonged nocturnal or daytime ocular coverage.
Sterile Ophthalmic Formula: Packaged with a specialized applicator tip for precise and hygienic administration.

Directions for Use:

In mild to moderate infections, apply approximately a 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) ribbon into the affected conjunctival sac 2 to 3 times daily.
In severe infections, apply a 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) ribbon into the affected eye(s) every 3 to 4 hours until improvement is observed, then taper the dosage before discontinuation.
Follow all specific dosing and administration instructions provided by your prescribing healthcare professional.
