Description

It is used to treat severe conjunctival and corneal infections with pathogens sensitive to chloramphenicol when lower-risk medicines are ineffective or cannot be used. The eye ointment is suitable for use in adults and children. Local application to the eye requires careful determination of the indication and should be as short as possible and only in exceptional cases longer than 2 weeks.
