POLYMYXIN B, MICONAZOLE AND PREDNISOLONE Dermatology Suspension in drops Composition: Prednisolone Acetate 5 mg Miconazole Nitrate 23 mg Polymyxin B Sulfate 5500 IU For the treatment of infections of the external ear canal (otitis externa) in dogs and cats and for primary and secondary infections of the skin and skin appendages (hair, nails and sweat glands) in dogs, cats and guinea pigs caused by the following pathogens sensitive to miconazole and polymyxin B: . Fungi (including yeasts) - Malassezia pachydermatis - Candida spp. - Microsporum spp. - Trichophyton spp. . Gram-positive bacteria - Staphylococcus spp. - Streptococcus spp. . Gram-negative bacteria - Pseudomonas spp. - Escherichia coli . For the adjunctive treatment of an Otodectes cynotis (ear mite) infestation associated with otitis externa.
