Description
Metacam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for use in dogs. Particular care should be taken with regard to the accuracy of dosing. This item is dispensed on receipt of a prescription from your vet. Metacam is an anti-inflammatory painkiller, and your vet may dispense it for a variety of reasons, such as to provide relief of osteoarthritic pain or for post surgical use. Therapeutic indication:Pharmaceuticals: Neurological preparations: Analgesics, Pharmaceuticals: Anti-inflammatory preparations: Oral: Other NSAIDs, Pharmaceuticals: Locomotor (including navicular and osteoarthritis)
Ingredients
Yellowish viscous oral suspension with a green tinge. One ml contains 1.5 mg meloxicam as active substance (equivalent to 0.05 mg per drop) and 1.5 mg sodium benzoate (equivalent to 0.05 mg per drop).
