Description
For the treatment of gastric ulcers, administer once daily for 4 weeks at a dose of 4 mg omeprazole/kg of body weight. To prevent gastric ulcer recurrence, continue treatment for an additional 4 weeks at a daily maintenance dose of 2 mg/kg of body weight. To prevent gastric ulcer formation in healthy horses during periods of stress, administer the minimum daily dose (1 mg/kg of body weight).
