Product Description * Used in suitable quantities, it will be absorbed completely in 4 - 6 weeks. * When applied to bleeding mucous areas, it will melt in 2 -5 days. * Spongostan sponge, used dry or saturated with a sterile sodium chloride solution, is indicated for surgical procedures (except urologic and ophthalmic procedures) to achieve haemostasis when control with venous and arteriolar bleeding using pressure, ligation and other procedures have proven ineffective or inpracticable.
