Description

Beaphar Canishield® Dog Flea & Tick Collar is a veterinary medicine that kills fleas for up to 16 weeks, ticks for up to 6 months and sandflies for up to 5.5 months. Beaphar Canishield® contains the active ingredient deltamethrin, which is slowly released from the collar over time, providing long-lasting protection. For best results, use early in the season before fleas are seen, and at least one week before your dog is likely to be exposed to fleas and ticks. Suitable for all dogs from 7 weeks of age. For best results, use early in the season before fleas are seen, and at least one week before your dog is likely to be exposed to fleas and ticks. Instructions ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not remove the collar from the sachet until you are ready to use the product. 1. To fit, place around your dog’s neck and slide the free end through the buckle and tighten leaving enough room to insert two fingers between the collar and neck. If fitted too tightly the collar may cause irritation, but if fitted too loosely your dog may be able to get a foot or tooth under the collar and become caught up attempting to remove it. 2. Cut off any collar sticking out beyond 5cm. Wrap this cut-off piece in a bag and throw it in your dustbin. 3. Remember to periodically check and loosen the collar if fitted onto a growing dog. For continuous protection, fit a new collar every four months.
